Time-Stamping Regulations on Catered Food with effect from 15 Feb 2012

From 15 February 2012, all NEA-licensed caterers will be required to time-stamp all buffet meals and packed meals. Time-stamping informs consumers of the recommended time limit for the consumption of cooked food which has been placed at temperatures between 5°C and 60°C.

Official Adoption of Ren Chi Nursing Home by Moulmein GROs

Grassroots Leaders and volunteers from Moulmein CCC, Pek Kio CC WEC, Farrer Park RC, Kentville RC and Owen RC together with staff members from Starbucks joined Moulmein MP and Adviser- Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew on a visit to Ren Ci Nursing Home to officially launch the adoption of the home by the RCs and Pek Kio WEC on Sunday 12th February 2012.

The latest adoption project is part of an on-going 'Active Volunteerism' programme initiated by Mr Lui in 2011to get Moulmein residents involved in community service projects at various homes for the aged located in the constituency.

DUNEARN NC : OLD FOLKS HOME OUTING ON HIPPO RIVER CRUISE

On 28/1/12, DUNEARN NC celebrated CNY by bringing the residents of ST THERESA’S HOME on an outing to the Singapore River and the old folks enjoyed a leisurely hippo river cruise on a cool Saturday morning . After the hippo river cruise, the old folks received goodie bags of groceries from giant supermarket and enjoyed a starbucks breakfast.. We thank our guest-of-honour Doris Ng who helped give out the goodie bags and also our generous sponsors and volunteers who made this event possible.
