The Green Club at St Joseph’s Institution has partnered Lions Club Singapore in its on-going Gift of Sight Project (GOSP) over the past 3 years.

This Gift of Sight Project involves the collection of re-usable eyeglasses from the community. The Lions Club then sends the collected eye-glasses to the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) for cleaning, sanitizing, checking for power and packing. Every year, missions are organised by the Lions Club to the neighbouring countries such as Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia to bring the collected re-usable eye-glasses to those in need. Student volunteers from schools and polytechnics join in these missions.
